Oddly enough, this bottle was a bit better, but I realize that having the level of sweetness on a Roussanne just bastardizes the varietal. It did show decently, despite it's age with lemon, citrus, tropical fruit notes. The acidity was also a bit better than the previous bottle.

Fully mature and in a great spot. Apricot, peach, and figs on a mature framework with just a hint of oxidation but only enhancing the flavors with honey, slight citrus, wax and faint herbs and straw. It's nice to find a wine on the bottle shelf that's in a great aged place.

I'm not going to give it a rating just yet, just in case my bottle had a flaw of some kind. The wine had a bit of a metalic taste to it that hid the sweetness & acidity that ya should get from this bottle. Will give the next bottle a rating.

Big and pretty nose of flowers (gardenias, honeysuckle), pineapple, melon, and honey. Full and rich palate of honey, spice, and tropical elements. Good finish. Reminded me a little of drinking mead. Quite sweet. It could have used more acidity to balance the sweetness. Tasty though. I like the low alcohol (12.7%). 89-90

The wine had a cork failure and was undrinkable. Very disappointing as we were really looking forward to this one.

Popped and then corked for 24 hours before consuming (Long story, but thought a wine was bad so opened this up only to see that the original wine's crappy nose blew off). Nose of peach and orange liquor (almost like a fuzzy navel without the alcohol burn). Also lots of floral elements. The residual sugar really showed through tonight. Should have paired it with a spicy dinner. Too heavy on the palate to pair with the crab cakes. Viscous on …

Popped and poured. Huge sweet floral nose. Couldn't pick out the aroma, but it made me think of walking into a high end soap shop with all kinds of fruit and floral smells. There is a bit of residual sugar on the palate and the wine comes across sweet due to the depth of fruit flavors that come through. Tastes of peach, candied ginger, orange liquor and pear. Very viscous mouthfeel. There was enough acidity to keep it refreshing and …

The wine is a straw color, with aromas of overipe honeydew, honeysuckle and peach. The midpalate is full and busting with pineapple, honey, and crisp peach. The finish is more mellow honey with a hint of spice.
