deep, purple, almost black colour with much lighter amaranth rim. nose: robust, dark fruits (blackberries, blueberries, black cherries), liqorice, vanilla, sweet spice. Some red flowers behind. taste: smooth with chalky but smallgrainy tannins. high acidity, full body. Oak rules. Black plums, black cherries, blueberries, blackberries. Long finish. Not bad fruit-oak balance.
