Nice earthy Zin. Blackberry preserves, but not sweet. Lots of licorice, anise, black pepper, and chewing tobacco.

Slightly cloudy dark crimson red. Strawberry, blueberry, spice and leather nose. Medium bodied, very jammy boysenberries and plums, grainy tannins, weak acid, some pepper and heat, and a short to medium dry finish. Too grape juice like for me.

Still a lot of dark fruits and a silky finish. No harshness at all on the finish. Integrated fairly nicely at this point. Good value wine.

Not a fruit-bomb at all, but a highly-oaked zin with a more subtle touch. Needs to open up in the glass or decant for an hour or so before drinking. More of a winemaker style than a reference for this varietal.

Nice plump, fruity zin with just enough structure to keep it interesting. It is ready to drink now. This is my last bottle. I have enjoyed them all. I like the Redemption Zin a lot better than the Sin Zin.

Very tight initially but opened up after a while in the glass. Berry flavors but overpowered by alcohol.

This wine seemed disjointed, some black fruits and it did have a level of richness, but very harsh finish. Maybe a little more bottle age will bring it together.

Very odd zinfandel with more merlot than zin qualitites. Terribly over oaked upon first opening the bottle, but seemed to settle down after an our or so in the decanter. This wine had no complexity, and couldn't tie the aroma's or flavors to much of anything. Maybe this was an off bottle? Odd!

This bottle opened just perfect--and it’s still new. I can’t wait for it to mature--it’s a real winner. (90+++)
