Drink now. Starting to show its age. Less on the nose. Black cherry meniscus. Dark berries. Still good pour. But not going to improve from here.

Decanted, brought up to room temp, paired with sirloin steak at dinner and dark chocolate salami (don't ask) at desert. I'm loving the earthiness even more and hope to see this offering again on WTSO or Last Bottle. Cherries, leather and hints of fungi.

Smoky, earthy aroma, with hints of licorice. Paired well with stuffed zucchini and pickled salad. Held up well, representing Tuscany as we remembered our recent trip.
