Flavs Ripasso della Valpolicella Superiore

Very good!

Cherry nose. Ripe mouth. Sweet finish. I may have become overly sensitized to this overripe sweet crowd pleaser style. Yech. Still, will give it an 84 to be fair to the fact that it delivers this in a reasonable not overly manufactured style.

PNP and served with Ukranian food.

Good. Darker in the glass than on the palate. Still, rich fruit and raisin flavors with some nice acidity for a mid-priced ripasso.

Medium dark color in glass. Concentrated ripe fruit in nose and palate Moderate acidity. Should hold for a year or two. Very Italian so drink with pizza, lasagna, etc..
