Arnaud Ente 2010 Meursault Clos des Ambres: Greenish lemon yellow. Tropical fruit , apples, creamy long, rich, linear, mineral and intense...with good, balancing acidity. A wine to contemplate and meditate over, as it is complex and in some ways, contradictory. Memorable! Crazy prices, but worth it!

A beautiful showing. Fleshy orchard fruits backlit by luminescent acidity. A touch of spice. Rich, dense and long. Performs well above its level.

Citrus notes, crushed rocks, and green apple notes on the nose, but the wine feels very understated and backwards at the moment. Good acidity with notes of grapefruit, lemon, apples, and minerals on the palate. Good finish. I liked the wine, but it was also a bit of a frustrating experience, not showing much at the moment although you could tell the fruit was there waiting to come out. 92-93+

This has gained weight. Extraordinary wine, rich, yet light on it's feet, seamless elegance, minerals, citrus galore, keeps going. Very fine depth, Arnaud Ente seems to have an extra gear. 94+ #Ib

KYD BYO (Koan) : Cool and refreshing but still with lots of buttery and popcorn notes. There is such a piercing acidity that it is almost impossible to guess blind that it is a Mersault :-) The wine has this amazing x-factor with lots of flavor depth but still a huge and piercing acidity. Such a wonderful and amazing wine!! Absolutely mind blowing performance!! With how it performes now, it is difficult to imagine this wine ever getting old. It …

Room was dark but the color looked bright gold with a hint of spring leaf green. The most delightful reduction in the form of crushed curry leaf lending a savory mineral backbone to a bouquet of yuzu and tart orchard fruit that turn into the smoothest palate defined by minerality and well balanced juxtaposition of sweet and sour. The finish lingers and leaves you wearing a Cheshire cat smile, knowing you just hit upon magic in a bottle. Leaves an …

Preciso, nitido, armonioso, ancora in embrione ma già molto molto apprezzabile. Acidità vibrante, bocca brillante, super persistenza. Siamo solo all’inizio

Two hours in decanter. Clear, refined, fresh and intense with long finish. Elegance with good acid backbone and prominent nuts and peach. Why not more points? Perhaps due to limited noise and power? What a pleasure to drink!!

Very much a 2010. Vibrant, intense, loaded with minerals, some herbs, citrus, butter, amazing wine - a Meursault in the new style, leaning towards Puligny. From LH #Jordnær

Drunk at Giando's Hong Kong - An impeccable bottle bought on release. Crisp, fresh minerality are the stand out descriptors from my limited vocabulary. This wine has amazing precision and whilst it's extremely pleasurable to drink now it no doubt has an even brighter future.

Lovely. This is extremely precise, impeccably balanced, and very bright. This shows bright lemon, a dusting of nuts, and subtle minerals. Not at all showy. While highly enjoyable, I wouldn’t pay the going rate for it and I’m not quite ready to elevate Ente to the Coche/Roulot stratosphere.

Reductive on the nose. Mouthful feeling, stony and balanced acidity, gradually evolving to a bit more like citrus cream. For 2010, it's quite approachable already, wondering how it will be like for another 10-15 years. Fortunate enough to have a few Arnaud Ente bottles in recent months, in terms of style, I think it is in between of Coche Dury (linear, reductive, precise, lemon peel) and Ramonet/Lafon (creamy, richer, citrus mousse).

Passage 53. Not nearly ready, tighter than bottle last month. Pale, green gold. Very light reduction. Bright, really good energy and minerality.

Coche Corton dinner. Coche-like reduction, elegant aromatics. Palate was intense and full. Good acidity. First time drinking Ente, can see why folks rate this.

Winos' excellent adventure in France; 6/22/2017-6/27/2017 (All over France) : Very clean and energetic nose, a hint of Cochesqgue flint, fresh pure white fruits, pear, apple, lemon curd, strong mineral, saline and white pepper. Excellent concentration, very pure and energetic, bright acidity, strong mineral presence and a long mineral driven finish. It is closer to Coche than Rulot, i.e. more flint and opulent fruit. Incredible showing once again for a village Meursault.

A lost Friday afternoon gathering – Selosse, Cotat, Vatan, Ente, Red Burgs including 2011 Rousseau CSJ blind! (Blacksalt, Washington DC) : Precise and coiled nose displaying pear, apple, lemon curd, Coche like flint and wet stone. Excellent concentration, dense and rich yet pure and precise, bright acidity, incredible amount of mineral, and a long mineral driven finish. This seems tighter than the 07. Another impressive showing for a village Meursault.

Incredibly youthful, direct and powerful. There's struck match, pure white peach, nougat and mineral on the nose. It is dense, chewy, focused and sappy in the mouth, It has great drive and citrus cut and length is outstanding. It is very Cochey.

Powerful nose, grilled hazelnut, smoke, very mineral, great tension!! Very tensed wine, high acid, high mineral, citrus, citrus, citrus, I'm lacking the fatness of a Meursault, maybe better with food, nevertheless great wine!!

Light nose of smoke and yellow apple... great tension in the wine, with high acidity-minerality, loads of yellow citrus... good lenght... Improves with air and long aftertaste after a few sips... it is just the first sip that is so high in acidity 92+/100... after 3 hours of aeration the wine improved to a 94/100

At Restaurant Melee, Frb. No formal tasting notes. The nose had some fresh zesty notes, mainly. The wine was an absolute delight. The palate had the zesty notes too, green apple, and some oak/vanilla (could not really tell). Also some minerality of some kind. Nicely balanced acidity. Seriously good effort.
