Fruit forward nose. Good, strong palate, with just a hint of a bite. Not a crazy long finish, but it is definitely there. No, it is not Pinot Noir, or Cab, or Nebbiolo, or even Zin. But it is quite good. I would drink this anytime, especially for the price.

High toned aromas, red cherry, orange candy, roses, minty herbs... firmly dry and tannic on the palate, I love the honest Nebbiolo character here, tart, tannic and mineral.

Disappointing. A drinkable wine but not really one worth drinking.

Average Nebbiolo. Not much depth. Short tannic finish. In the category of “domestic airplane wine” for me.

Assemblaggio Italiano (E&R Wines, Portland OR) : The nose is fresh and balanced with tones of red cherries, berries, herbs, spice notes, tobacco leaf, crushed rocks, and violets. The Medium bodied feel shows off the freshness of the nose along with crisp, medium+ acidity and medium tannins. This is good, but the tones are more sitting on the surface.

Nose: Damp soil, leather, sweet but somewhat funky, dank fruit; on day two, rose is prominent. Palate: Tart bordering on sour red currant and raspberries; light black pepper and tomato leaf, tomato sauce-like acidity, gentle tannins that dissipate quickly, but contribute to a rounded finish. Better on day two as the tomato sauce tones down and there's a flowery sandalwood note that emerges on the background.
