Lake Breeze, Alize, Okanagan Valley

So...after a few disappointing wines, sampled over the last few days of the New Year, a pleasure to drink. On nose: apple, green peach and greenish pear. On palate: all above flavour notes in sync, with lemon meringue, sea salt, and the deliciously bitter finish of witbier hops, all displayed on a sleek , medium body with clean acidity.....a new world Rousanne....superb partner to roast chicken, Jasmine rice and winter vegetables....fresh and youthful at nearly 6 years of age.

Another British Columbia white.... On nose: an aroma of orchard fruit...apples , green peach and pears. On palate: above flavour notes, in addition to chamomile, a hint of lemon curd, and a subtle ghost of both witbier hops and a trace of nutmeg, ...all displayed on a medium body, with clean, balancing acidity....a fine New World take on Northern Rhone Rousanne.

Same as last bottle, this is really lovely wine, and a bargain at the price. Lesser known grape I guess. Should load up. Very good Rousanne typicity. Lovely balance, and the acidity leavens the slightly viscous mouthfeel. Long finish, loads of flavour.
