Chautara Pinot Noir

light red, actually thin appearing but has special nose - dark chocolate, pudding, cherry, barnyard?, deep taste with integrated soft edges - cherry. Would buy again soon.

Toasty, cedar, dried cherry, herbal, sort of unlike any pinot noir ive tried. A little flabby and bitter. Not really a fan.

15% new oak, a touch of whole bunch, borrowed Stark Conde barrels, And that smells like light bodied Pinot. Maybe a little SA funk, maybe just a little bit of the cool climate spiciness to it. Tightly wound on the palate. Not tightly wound, just light.

Light red color. Red berries on the nose; strawberry, raspberry.Some earthy/oaky notes, (leather tobacco). Fresh and juicy on the palate, some tannins makes this a good wine for a simple dish/appertizer. Alot of red berries, but also some spice. Good value for the money.
