Excellent hot-weather summer wine.

Tasting notes on day 2 after opening. Super interesting wine, but probably not for everyone. Nose and palate has primary note of plug tobacco with a touch of lemon zest in mid-palate and a yeasty finish. Light effervescence helps counter the low acidity. I find it strange that some people find this sweet, when I thought it was very dry ( it is, after all, "secco").

nice as an aperitif: effervescent, dry, yeast, weak finish though

Tried this in place of Vinho Verde for a change. Similar light fizz, but did not care for the flavor. Sweet, yeasty, bubbly ick.

Nice pear and stone aromas, bubbly, goes down well but still has some complexity

Light gold color, very effervescent. Nose of stone fruit and honey. Relatively dry taste, this is not even remotely as sweet as the Moscato d'Asti (I believe the blend is only 2% moscato). Best to serve in a champagne glass, makes for a nice, inexpensive apertif.
