Via viticole: Dark and primal with elegantly spiced floral notes and an uncommon depth of drive. Traditional treatment would require this be cellared for 5+ years before opening, but with increasingly elegant extractions, backing off of sulfur, and the preservation of natural CO2 in the wine, the austere edges are sure to soften earlier. 2022 -2048
