The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like orange, pear, honeydew, light toast and nutmeg. It tastes like grapefruit, orange, peach and stoniness. The body is light/medium. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

The basic entry. This wine is very nice for what it is. Medium golden color, subdued nose. Lovely balance; neither overly fruity nor tart. On the light side, but still manages to to convey a good varietal tasting profile. A little oak lurking in the background. All Rodney Strong wines are worth trying, and this is no exception. A very nice, mid-level Chardonnay.
