Outstanding strawberry toffee beauty

Strawberry, wild strawberry, coffee, toffee, hint of smoke. Dusty minerality, herbs, some alcohol heat. Easily singled out as Provence rose semiblind. Think this is a good wine, but in a tough competition it came at the bottom of the flight tonight.

Sensation! Schon die Farbe der Hammer. Lachsrosa mit Kupfereinschlag. Die Nase fährt gepflegt Karussell. Hochkomplex, das Teil. Mit der Zeit immer neue Duftnoten. Pfirsich, Aprikose, rote Früchte, Orange, Mirabelle, Marzipan, Vanille, Eiche. Die Eiche bildet das Gerüst. Erhaben und elegant, keinesfalls aufdringlich. Im Mund ist der Wein weich, leicht salzig, cremig und so geschmeidig. Fruchtig, die Eiche, florale Noten on top. Gutes Volumen, kraftvoll, viel Tiefe. Langer Nachhall. Hart an der Grenze zur Magie. Auf jeden Fall außergewöhnlich.

Fudge, cold café au lait, strawberries. Compared to the ’17 I had quite recently, this appeared perhaps slightly less complex/balanced at this young stage, but not problematic in any way. This is a really nice wine, not so much as a thirst quencher perhaps but more as a serious food wine.

Pink colour with orange glints. Nose is round, fruity, with some oak character and notes of blood orange, wild strawberries, tropical fruits, strawberries and some herbs. Mouthfeel is rich, lovely, medium bodied plus, with some oak character, fresh acidity and notes of wild strawberries, blood orange, some herbs, red currants, dried apricots and a touch of nutmeg. Quite peculiar rosé, aged on wood, which gives a texture that makes you think of white Bourgogne, but still with this pink Provence …
