Shadybrook Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Should let it age another year or two but still was excellent.

After three hours in the decanter there is rich blackberry and bramble on the nose; smells like I’m walking through a coastal berry patch. Holds a nice grip on the stems. While the wine has softened considerably from the initial sip I took when decanting, the tannins still have a strong profile even if the initial grittiness has resolved. I received this as a gift and am curious enough to see how this ages that I’ll look into getting another. …
