Still quite fresh, just a slight edge knocked off the candied youthful fruit, love the sour cherry, good richness for level; solid.

I am not sure if it was just past its prime or what but this wine was very light, lacking in fruit and depth. I left it open for hours and it did not improve. I had it with a nice salmon dish. It did have the typical earthiness but without the fruit, balance and structure. I would drink now if you have it. Hope others see more than I did.

A decent negociant Burgundy from Beaune. Light, refreshing, and crisp, would have been a great summer drinker.

Light ruby color. Very light palate, a bit of cherry. It was a nice refreshing glass while sitting at a campsite after a bike ride. Definitely better with food.

This light ruby colored wine had a thin, watery body and an odd minty, floral taste that I wasn't fond of. Not a bad wine, per se, but one that I won't buy again, even at its economical price point.

Light color, light body combined with acidity that's not balanced or supported by the fruit. It is a nice quaffer and it is inexpensive, but really not that interesting. Kind of thin on the palate.

Great burgundy. Tremendous value. Smooth, silky with cherry and currant up front. Nice long finish with soft acids and velvity tannin.

Like sucking on a violet and cherry-infused wood chip. Good intensity on the palate and nicely balanced with smooth, integrated tannins. Just not a huge fan of either the fruit profile or the overt woodiness.

Great barnyard burgundy nose. Nice fruit and funk to taste but a slight bitterness and lack of balance keep it from hitting the 90 mark. Really solid though.

Light cherry and a gamy note on the nose, with cherry cola, raspberry, and just a hint of earth on the palate. Delicate, with a silky, refined mouthfeel, and just the right amount of acidity. Not terribly complex, but one heck of an elegant wine for $16.

Nice nose of cherries and strawberries. A bit thin and tart with medium high acidity. Overall quite enjoyable at the price.

After a day slow oxing: Subdued, but mineral-laden, talcy, and very bright red fruited nose. Very tart cranberry palate, this is bright fruited, but strongly acidic. Clean, but shortish. Give it a few years. Maybe. (I wanted to try this again before it went into the Coq au Vin.)

Tart. To me, this shows the downside of the '10 vintage. The fruit and structure from the better vineyards can utilize the acidity, whereas the regionals and bourgognes can't. If this had 15 years and the structure and fruit to handle it, it'd be superb, but it doesn't, so it isn't. Good, but I prefer the '09 and '11 regionals and bourgognes.

Rather light in color. Nice spicy fruit in the nose. Very pretty. Excellent palate. Took a day to open and soften, but excellent value. 4-13-16-9: 92/100.

Fairly simple, but beautiful Bourgogne. Light bodied and colored, with bright red fruit and earth. Medium finish.

Pop and pour, followed over the evening. Much darker than most burgs, would have guessed something else based on color alone. Deep nose. Nice wine, good balance with no obvious oak to me. Well worth the cost, especially if you go in expecting a bigger, maybe more modern version of pinot.

Pop and pour and served with food (steak, roast potatoes, and salad. Recorked and tasted the following day without food. Light in color an texture. Nose has a hint of smoke. Good acidity; perhaps a bot too tart for my taste. Nice fruit. The acidity is a bit high, both on day one (when it was better as it helped cut the fat of the steak) and day two.

This is really a 95+in it's class and intent. It's an extremely well constructed and executed "tour d'Bourgogne" and I would highly recommend it to any and all who want to watch the trailer and get a really good idea of the movie! I know I know - some trailers promise a lot and then don't deliver, while others under promise so you don't bother to see it; only to read about it later and realize you missed the best …

A solid pinot from thewinetobuy.com i really like this wine's nose featuring clearly that unquestionable earthy scent. The palate follows right in line with a very definite earthy distinction blended with subtle, sweet raspberry overtones. A well made pinot that feels like it can be pleasing for quite some time. Enjoy.

Raspberry on the nose. Reminiscent of a good cru Beaujolais. The cherry on the palate reminds you this is Burgundy even though there is some candy. There is some nice sappiness on the midpalate from the old vines. The wine is simple but very well done. Could drink this by the bottle.

Mostly Beaune fruit. Some Volnay and Savigny as well. Nose not very impressive. On the palette light dust and light cherry, nice fruity finish, a little light tannins and nice acidity. Overall nice balance and good QPR.

Fruit forward. Good acidity. Raspberry, ripe cherry and plum on the palate. Not subtle and with little of the old world earthiness
