An extraordinary mutant of a wine! A transparent red, reminiscing of a young Pinot. Wonderful bouquet with notes of cherries, tobacco, spice and kirsch. And has the body to worship - delicate, fresh and power. Tannin is unavoidable at this age but so refined and elegant. Lovely complex finish with fine minerals, red fruits and perhaps a hint of graphite. You could almost drink it now but I would wait until 2030 and then into past my life time!

Vite Talin has to be sampled to be believed. It is truly a game changer in Nebbiolo and perhaps in 50 years, for all of Barolo. There is intensity, power, richness and balance that is unique. It spends 3 years in oak and 3 in bottle before release. Drinkable now but will live for many decades, I expect. Barbara Sandrone said, "forever". Perhaps Luciano's greatest legacy, and he has left many.
