Day III. Fridge and vacuum each night. This held up really well, especially when i opened it back up a few hours ago. Similar TN as recent bottle, I really love this wine and the price point, great qpr.

P&P. Looks a bit bricky, pruny...worrisome color. Nose has the farmy, bit ripy fruit, some of that 13.5. Has a real Italian feel to it, the mouth feel, palate, a balance of fruit, acid, tannins right now on the P&P, light on its feet. Wish I could guess this grape mix...argh I suck. Cheating to check the spec sheet. Merlot & Cab Frac, partially dried grapes. Explains the color and prune thing, the CF and drying technique.

MacroVintner Trade Tasting (Goldfields House, Sydney) : {cork, 13.5%, A$50} A dark, earthy nose of raisins and prunes precedes a rich, full-bodied, slightly earthy palate. Dense, not too oaky, but stuffed with ripe fruit; this is straddling both worlds a bit for style. Not showing much development yet either. One for the longer haul.
