Domaine de L'Octavin Le Roi des Cepages

Quite some V.A. on the nose, which dissipated relatively quickly. The palate also initially tasted a bit funky but ultimately came around with adequate oxygenation and turned into a briny, juicy thirst-quencher. All in all, a rather interesting take on riesling and it certainly made me want to try other wines from the producer. That being said, I don't know if I would necessarily recommend it to most people as I think many would be inclined to dump it down …

Clearly natural, VA on the nose, lean fruit, mostly white florals, clean finish (no mouse). Pleasurable pairing with Asian food, recommend chilled down and with food.
