Andrea Picchioni Oltrepò Pavese Buttafuoco

Light up front, but good dark berry, spice, tar, and acidity on the back end. Some of the qualities of it's big brother, the Bricco Riva Bianca, but much less fruit and intensity of flavor. Still, it's a good value for the money and, for my tastes, preferable to a lot of other Italian wines in that price range.
