Thought it was drinking very nicely. Nice fruit, not tannic. Only the one bottle so not able to compare bottle to bottle but think it is probably in its prime.

Been a long time ago so memory is hazy. But this was one of the first cabs that really struck me that it was meaty, full bodied and rich with dark fruit in the background. Sorta like there was beef jerky and I really enjoyed that aspect.

Solid cab with some girth and a strong finish. Earth tones on the smell vanilla palate.

It wasn't bad but maybe not a $70 bottle. Not as big as we like

Picked this up several years ago and have been sitting on it ever since. Popped a bottle at a steak house tonight and was amazed at how wonderfully it has aged. Tannins have really mellowed and the fruit is still quite prominent. If you have some of this don't be afraid to drink it as it is showing really quite well at the moment. I'd bet it still has a lot of life left in it as well. A solid …

Gaining elegance. Just coming into its prime. Dark ruby color . Blackberry and mocha flavors. To show its best needs food with some spice or other aggressive flavors. Showed well with a filet seasoned with balsamic and onions. Good value.

Ripe fruit and jammy nose. Nice concentration, smooth palate with sweet tannins. Too alcoholic and too bold a wine for my taste.

Like most Kenefick Ranch wines, this is big. What I found most remarkable about the 2007 compared to previous vintages is the balance right out of the bottle....this has more to do with the vintage probably than the winemaking. Dark and brooding in the glass. Chocolate covered caramels and blackberries on the nose. Rich, dark fruit, cocoa, and a hint of cherry liquor on the palate. I really enjoyed all the Kenefick Ranch wines in the tasting lineup, but this …
