Pretty good CA rosé. Dry and a relatively big wine (13.5% alcohol) for a rosé but what do you expect from CA. Not as subtle as other rosés but pretty good for the price.

Giant Wine Sale & Tasting 4/19/2014 (Cellar on Greene, Columbia, SC) : This is a bleed rose. They did not leave it very long on the skins, so the resulting is quite light and tasty. The color is light pink towards magenta. The nose is interesting, with more than just strawberry and other red fruits, it has grapefruit, spice and other citrus. The palate is red fruit first especially strawberry and red tart cherry, but also a spicy herbal component …
