Colour: pale gold Nose: ripe stone fruit, nectarine and peach. Ripe mango, maybe mango skins. Lemon peel, lime, tonic water. Nashi pear. Vanilla, but it’s unoaked. Rich. Palate: ripe stone fruit, nectarine, peach. Mango. Pear. Lemon curd, lemon peel. Maybe tonic water. Ripe, with lots of fresh pithy fruit. No oak, apparently, but there’s some vanilla there too. Fresh lemony acidity. Crunchy phenolics. Medium bodied, 13% alcohol. Seal: diam cork. Not great white Burgundy, but good value for the price.
