"I'm bored" small wine dinner (My house) : This is rather boring and taught for a Champagne. Maybe more time will help? I got more expressiveness from their NV Brut.

A quaint get-together at Joe's Place (Joe's House) : I thought this showed quite a bit of tension....quite acidic and young. I think this will improve with some additional age. Showed some tart green apple, some yeast and some citrus (yuzu). Oxidative in style and would pair better with some salty food. A very serviceable Champagne that should get better.

The Cat's Away Small Dinner (Joe & Khem's Place, Mpls) : Pale straw color. Small glass. White apple, oxidative, biscuit, melon, and a bit of quince on the palate. It's fine, but not anything I'd seek out.

Got this for a steal at $40. Feuillatte is quickly becoming my favorite champagne house. They produce quality bubbles at an approachable price. This is a step up from their basic blue label NV, but still a great QPR. This vintage (2012) was heavy on brioche notes. Like sipping a slightly tart croissant. Some almonds as well with a hint of citric zing - orange and lemon peel. For the price, I could (and would!) drink this all day.

Very fruity with mango and orange cest notes. I like my champagne a little more crisp but this is still very enjoyable.

Lackadaisical bubbles with sharp lemony nose. Spiny acidity with dough and yeasty finish.

Brought to an out of town restaurant for anniversary. Sweet attack. Fading bubbles. Refreshing.

Hazy notes from afew days ago. Great champagne! Very toasty and yeasty on the nose, and lots of chardonnay notes as well: great nose. The palate was equally stunning, with again chardonnay flavours at the forefront: rich yet crisp at the same time. It would start with a citrus tingle on the front palate, but end with rich, complex flavours on a powerful finish. Still getting better..(A-/A)

Brought to start off a dinner party. so these are just vague impressions. Classy, classic nose with citrus fruits and yeatsy notes, and a long, rich and very complex set of flavours on a nice finish. Still young, but it was showing very well indeed already (A-).

Mineral nose. Uncomplicated taste, quite short.
