Drinking very nicely, but served a bit too cool. Will benefit from more time.

Très bien comme produit, Shiraz australien supporté par une belle trame tannique sans trop être trop dominante, beau fruit noirs, cassis mûres et notes secondaire de confitures de mûres

Very good, tasty, lots of fruit, good complexity. I'm still not convinced that shiraz is the best expression of the Syrah grape.

Dark ruby red to garnet edge. Nose of blackberry and strawberry. Blackberries, strawberry, cherry, dark chocolate, light black pepper, (sweet) liquorice, slight struck match on opening but evaporated after 15mins. Velvety mouth feel. Fine silky tannins, great acidic structure, meerest almost imperceptible hint of leathery savouriness on the end of a long finish. A dark (berry) dream of an aged Barossa Shiraz.

From 375ml PnP. Screw cap. Big oaky plummy black fruit and sweet vanilla. on the nose, nice balance. Same on palette, nice acidity, some chocolate on the finish. Added some spice with some air. Paired well with a homemade burger. Pretty young and primary, good potential and excellent value.

Ripe Shiraz with French oak vanillan characters. Palate reflects the nose, though the alcohol more evident. Needs time to come into its drinking window. Try in 3 years. Should be a very pleasant quaffer.

Good with lamb or butter chicken, spicey foods The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like rose.

Clear, deep, ruby with a purple rim. Clean, youthful, medium intensity nose of baked plum, cranberry, sweet spice (cinnamon, clove), hint of vanilla (suggestive of used oak). Dry, med+ acid, med tannin, high alcohol (14.5%), med+ body, medium flavour intensity of blackberry, plum – some jamminess. Med+ finish, juicy, acid lingers a little. This is good to very good wine, mid-priced (excellent QPR), can drink now but has potential for ageing up to 10 years (2030). If you drink now …

Dark cherry colour with dirty hue. Aroma of rubber and dark fruit. Black currant, date, leather, aniseed, coffee, chocolate. Dry tannins, alc of 14.5 is evident. Medium plus body, long finish. I think it was better on the first night, but not great. Rich flavours but inconsistent.

5yrs in the cellar and there were some detectable (but not distracting) tannins present. Great value wine that is approachable in its youth, but rewards cellaring. I'd guess its peak drinking window is 7-10yrs from vintage.

Ohh...I like this Barossa Shiraz! So velvety. So smooth. And so cheap! The grapes are sourced from Carl Lindner's ancient, gnarly vines, some over 100 yrs of age. The wine is matured in French oak barriques for 18 mths (25% new). And the wine's namesake - Dandelions - are left amongst the vines to suppress Winter weeds and provide mulch in the Summer. The nose doesn't give many clues to the wonderful palate that awaits you. In fact, you get …

Decanted 30 minutes. Medium-dark ruby. Aromas of spice, cassis, cherry, garlic. With time, a chemical note appears on the nose, but not on the palate. Acidity: medium. Sweetness: XD (7 g/L). Tannin: L+. Alcohol: 14.5%. Stelvin closure. The first time I had this, a year ago, I loved it and bought a case; the last two times I've had it, I've been disappointed. Update -- drank half the bottle, pumped the air out, and tried it again a week later. …

Concentrated aromas of blackberry, plum, blackcurrant, vanilla, chocolate, and coffee. Full body, big polished tannins, and just enough acidity to prevent any jammy nature to this wine. Very balanced and approachable, easy to drink and enjoy. Pretty good value too. I like how it is often available in both the 375 ml and 750 ml formats at the LCBO in Ontario.

Dark ruby. Medium plus intensity aroma of blackberry, spice and fruit pastilles. Whiff of cedar. On the palate the wine is dry, medium plus body, medium plus tannin, medium plus acid, blackcurrant. High alcohol. Medium plus length. A sound wine, which should improve further with time.

Very good value. Brimful of fresh dark berries (blackberries), sweet licorice and very balanced, medium body, oak is nicely done, probably not very much - if any - new oak. There is structure, but the texture is soft and very approachable right now. Great freshness. We had this slightly chilled to some grilled kofta (lamb, beef, and pork), a bulgur salad and some tzatsiki, felt like a perfect match. If this is a true harbinger of future vintages to come, …
