Last consumed 6 years ago, this was carefully poured having been stood up for about 2 months. This was followed over 4 hours. A beautiful mature wine with quite of bit of sediment that requires decanting. Mature wine aromas juxtaposed with fresh fruit and great acids on the palate craft a thought-provoking and special experience. The pedigree of this vineyard speaks in this bottle. Terrific. One of the best and most distinctive wines I've enjoyed this year. Decanted for 2 hours and enjoyed over the following 3 hours. This wine was dark inky purple in color with a moderate amount of sediment in the bottle. Wow. This is an austere fantastic Shiraz. Improved dramatically after 1-2 hours of air. Great mild tannin. 90 second finish with tons going on. This should last 5+ years, but its drinking beautifully now. 93+
