Beautiful Spanish grand reserva.

To the nose, black more than red fruit: black raspberry, black cherry, red raspberry, red cherry, and slight boysenberry. Minimal forest floor and oak. On the palate, red fruit rises slightly. Medium mouthfeel and medium length. Tannins are barely providing structure now. Good spice (allspice = pepper, mostly black). Forest floor, but less than had on the nose; some bramble. Alcohol (14%) peaks through. Less fruit at the end. Drink now.

Pnp, modern style, good fruit, hints of coffee, herbs, fully integrated but should hold for several more years, decent QPR.

Nice and drinkable. Good value. Dark fruits, black licorice, oak. Should add into the rotation.

Dark fruit (surprisingly fresh fruit), smooth tannins, wood notes. Bit of candied fruit at the back of the palate. First wine from this area.

Licorice stands out. Dark fruit, blackberry, oak, mild tannins, fruity finish

Not bad. But nothing to write home about.
