Medium plus nose shows bright red fruit, sweet spice, crushed roses, orange peel. Palate matches with spice profile, red hots, white pepper, wet rock, has a zing to it but still balanced, structure shows at medium body/tannins, med plus acidity, alcohol. Nice value and example of Grenache.

GT Wine Magazine Top Tasting Grenache (Mille Vini, Surry Hills) : Ripe, spiced strawberry jam, a little farty reductive note, sweet baking spice. It’s quite juicy on the palate with a little alcohol warmth, tannins are chalky and woody. Hmm, a bit out of whack. Second taste -this has opened to show a lot of fruit sweetness…possibly a smidge of residual sugar
