Napa Creek Winery Cabernet Sauvignon

(Tasting portion) Quite complex, herbal infused nose, balanced, cool style cab.

12/15/10-nice nose of earth and cherry, and a slight touch of mocha. palate has nice full rainier cherry, bit of red plum and earth. smooth but has very nice acidity. after a few hours, the fruit profile is becoming slightly darker and a bit of mocha is emerging on the palate. has several more years left. moderate amount of fine sediment. was 89 after an hour, but 90-91pts after 3 hrs.

Pretty good little napa cab for the price. Smell of oak, spice and dark fruit. didn't smooth out the way I wanted it to. plum, blackberry, earth and a little heat.

Notes of cocoa, minerals, sage, red berries and topsoil. Flavors of red currant, licorice, cherry and spice. Finsihes a little short. 84-85 pts. ($35)

I was surprised at this low, low price range, not bad.
