This 19 years old bottle, well cellared has a solid 94 rate. Aromas of black and red berries, coffee and tobacco well balanced. At taste smooth, round, acidity and tannins well balanced. Paired with pepper steak made both exceptionally outstanding .,

Drinking wonderfully right now. Definitely feel the overall scores on this are low. Easily a low 90's wine right now. Great bouquet and palate that could still get better over a few more years. I'd likely drink this up over the next 3 years.

Yountville, Calif. Red Blend, 2010 Tamber Bey Cabernet Sauvignon Deux Chevaux Vineyard ($42 in 2013). Mid-dark garnet, brick edges; mint, cedar, cassis, cocoa, leather nose (similar to earlier notes); mid-big body; mid-plus tannins; long semi-chewy hot (14.9 alc.) finish. w/tri tip. 16.5 UC Davis scale, 91 other scales.

(4/5) - Color is deep ruby. Still holding pretty well. (12/15) - Aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, baking spice, menthol. Nothing overly exciting though (16/20) - A bit out of balance even after a long decant. Abv a bit noticeable on finish and the fruit doesn't really shine. Primary notes of oak and earthiness actually. (6/10) - Overall a decent value, but I'd rather spring for their Oakville Cab or their merlot.

Wonderfully aged, smooth and structured, dark fruit and earthy palate. At its drinking window now and for several more years I say. Cork integrity completely intact with wine having slightly reached the quarter mark. Wish I had more. With mom, Over barbecue pork, Sat. Night.

Gorgeous purplish ruby color. Instantly satisfying fruit aromas of cherry, plum, blackberry, cassis and a bit of tobacco. Plum, cherry, and some cedar carry strongly on the palate. Very well balanced creamy Cabernet! My others may get a couple more years but drinking extremely well right now.

PnP and drank from decanter with friends. Dark fruit, good acidity, a little earth and a bit on austere side. Went great with filet mignon. Whole dinner party liked it

Tasting pour at a wine store. Decent strait forward Cali Cab with nice flavors, good balance and nothing out of place.

Decanted for 30 minutes. Has aged well. Each bottle a bit better, now down to our last one.

So I have had 3 bottles of this and the key here is a 4-5 hour decant. You will be disappointed if you PnP. This baby comes alive at 4 hours of air and easily held up for 7 hours. Busting with dark fruit. Silky on the palate and the tannins completely resolve after 4 hours of air. Barry and his team knocked this one out of the park. Amazing wine for the price!

Nice bell pepper undertones. Got this when on a visit to Calistoga. Wonderful winery with a background of sporting horses so very interesting. Wonderful wines all around.

Would have benefited from some decant time, but a bit disappointing. Funky musty nose & not too much going on.

Pnp, and had with appetizers at Italian Restaurant. Could have used some air time to open up...Red fruit, super tannic...Good acidity level... Tannins overpowered the fruit a bit... liked but did not love, but would like to try again with some air time

This fruit-forward, round, opaque crimson wine epitomizes Napa Valley Cabernet. With a nose and palate effusive of gorgeous black fruits, smoke, exotic spices and anise, it delights from beginning to end within a frame of big ripe tannins and well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.9%). Long and smooth in the finish, this is a wine worthy of the search. Enjoy it over the next decade (or longer). Drink now-2023.

A good solid Napa Valley Cabernet that rises above the pack by showing a real Yountville terroir. Tight nose, dark intense fruit, and lots of dust. $48.99 OH retail www.austinbeeman.com
