For a 25 year old Napa valley wine this was amazing! Poured through a strainer, decanted, & enjoyed over the next hour or so with a steak with garlic, butter, chimichurri sauce & salad. Fruit & oak were well integrated. Well rounded aged cab sauvignon like. Hints of port toward the end, but amazing given the age. Stored in a 55 degree cellar since purchase

This gains focus after thirty minutes in the glass. Leather, some cherry, concrete dust. Declining but not gone. Drink it yesterday.

Has smoothed out a lot since our other bottle, but it hasn’t stepped up a notch as we had hoped. Good but not great.

Great bright fruit. Tannins present but not overwhelming. A bit of spice too

Lots of bricking but the fruit held out better than expected. For a 20 year old Napa bottling, I was impressed.

Still a little rough around the edges. Tannins are a little too prominent still. Suggest sitting on these for a couple more years to smooth them out more, but can certainly see the promise there.

An absolutely wonderful wine. Smooth, nice finish...ready to drink.

From Peju - Our 2010 Reserve Cabernet Franc is savory and complex with soft tannins offset by bright acidity and fruit components. On the nose, the wine shows leather, tobacco, sage and white pepper, along with light vanilla, brown sugar and a brambly, wild berry quality. A velvety, beautifully balanced wine with a long, smooth finish.

Has held up fine. Nothing remarkable but good red berry notes and fine finish for a bottle this old.

See notes from previous bottle. Exceptional and consistent with the last bottle but thought this one had a little extra

Flavors of pepper, plumb, ash, tobacco, and dark red in the glass. A nice finish of oak that was pleasant. A really smooth well structured wine that still had plenty of overtones and could have lasted longer in the bottle. Really nice long sustained finish. Very nice bottle and quite a nice find for $25.00. Wish I would have bought more of these when they were clearing them out.

Flavors of cranberry, red currents, plumb, cedar, green peppers and well-integrated oak. A little cab franc-ish. This is a very solid, well structured wine. Quite youthful and capable of more aging.

This wine matured nicely. It was velvety smooth.
