Lemon lime and gold in colour- brisk Albarino seaside fresh bouquet- bright acidity , mineral and white currant flavours -very good time to get out the seafood.

God this is good.... Quite deep lemon/gold in colour. Textured, full, interesting. Apples both tart and with a hint of sweetness, other fruit notes too, maybe more tropical even. An interesting and most enjoyable wine to be savoured. Drunk with grilled halibut with crab risotto.

Deep golden yellow with a hint of green. Melon rind and on the nose. As many note there is a lot of lemon, but there is so much more. I get unripe pear and a subtle backbone of aged cheese. Great finish with just the right acidity.

Crisp texture and refreshing mouthfeel make this an excellent Albariño for sipping or accompanying a meal of fresh fish or lightly prepared meats. Aromas of pear, green apple, and a hint of mineralogy. Flavors of pear, apple, and lemon. Well structured, with pleasing acidity. Medium-length, slightly tart fruit finish.

Excellent wine. One of best Albarino I've had. Medium yellow/lemon colour. Apples on the nose, following through to palate, but rounded not too tart. A pleasing fullness and good finish. Excellent with a beetroot and goat's cheese starter.

The Albariño grape, grown on the Atlantic coast of Spain, has long been a source of great white wine and this is just a completely delicious example. Tastes like green apple and lemon, very clean and refreshing. The traditional food pairing for Albariño is shellfish (and that would be lovely), but if you need a wine to drink with sushi, Chinese dishes, or any kind of spicy food- this is the one. Of course it's also a delight to drink …

Pale yellow color w/excellent clarity. Fruit-forward aromas of apple, pear, & wet stone. Fruity flavors led by apple and pear, w/refreshingly crisp, stony notes. Crisp acidity, but well balanced for sipping or accompanying fresh fish or lightly prepared chicken.

Really enjoyed this. What marked it out for me was what one taster called a citrus line; certainly there was what struck me as an extra dimension of a fresh, acidic line that provided a refreshing counterpoint to the rich peachy fruit. Lovely.

Pale straw colour. There’s a line of citrus lime running through it with peach and something floral. Lovely luxurious coating in the mouth. I thought this was very classy.

Fefiñanes is Rías Baixas’ most historic albariño producer who continue to make one of the most delicious examples. Soft and peachy Spanish white with a lovely line of lemony freshness.

I have been drinking this wine for years and this may be the best vintage or at least the best bottle yet. Has some real stuffing.

Highly expressive wine of the best kind. The fruit is extraordinary right now with great depth supported by a creamy but in now way fat texture. It has some exotic fruit character but there are also white petals and a great salinity that gives sharp and beautiful outlines to the wine. This is remarkably well made and ready to drink. It even accelerates on the second night, so you can pop the cork but you don´t need to.

As usual this is very dependable when need to match sea food, rounded from the time spend in the bottle, a bit creamy this time, a touch salty on the aftertaste which makes it more charming. Like it.

Bright, crisp and with a couple of years in the bottle just a bit more depth in the finish, which is long. I'm going to go to 90 points because if all albarino was like this we'd be very happy indeed.

Drank next to 2013 Mar de Frades Albariño, similar in style, just a little bit behind in terms of intensity. Elegant, with sort of transparency that is so delicate, that you need to serve it to the right temperature (9-10 deg) and glass for good showing of the wine.

Rather warm and ripe fruit, where pears dominate, but the nose also has some freshness from citrus. Same impressions are carried over to the palate where it is complimented by a precise acidity and notes of pineapple. A rather one dimensional and simple wine but at the same time rather generous.

The nose is clean, med intensity, the profile is more acidic wtih lemon, pineapple, lime, spicy green stalky/peppery notes, green apple, youthful overall. It felt like having a few toes over the off-dry line, light to med body and intensity, 12.5% alcohol, med/med+ acidity, ripe apricot and lime, balanced towards the acidity, green apple with short to med finish. Very good quality, drinking now or hold. Even though it scored less than the 2010 Viña Nora Albariño Rías Baixas Nora Da …

Straw-colored, crisply acidic and delightfully aromatic, this light-bodied white is just what the doctor ordered for a scorching hot (late summer) Southern California day! Pear, citrus and wet stone aromas carry through to the palate, which is refreshing and seamlessly alcoholic (12.5%). The middle palate is solid. This wine's strongest asset is its lengthy, juicy finish, which vaults it into the "outstanding" category. Enjoy it in its youth. Drink now-2015.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #090; Albariño / Rias Baixas (By IL) : Expressive bouquet with a lot of grasses, flowers and green apple. On the palate fresh and crisp, flowers again, good tart citrus, peach, minerals. Touch of pleasant bitterness. Tasty and elegant wine with a good complexity and finish. Still a bit too young.
