Fattoria della Talosa Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Filai Lunghi

Notes are about an hour after pulling the cork, not decanted. Tobacco and black currant on the nose. While approachable this is quite tannic, indicating several years (or more aeration) before hitting its stride. Light red fruit and espresso beans on a long, dry finish that runs 30+ seconds. Quite nice and wish I had more. Can see this adding 2points with time, will see tomorrow how the balance of this fares with a little more time.
