Maison Alex Gambal Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Aux Echanges

90 cuz this could become something more, but I found it to be less than pleasant, drank over three nights, problem wasn't that it lacked fruit or body, but that it was tough with what felt like unabsorbed oak in size, and very dark fruit (I prefer red'ish)... if you have a few I'd wait 7-10 year to try again, but I only had this one and won't rebuy -- not worth the risk for me at $120 / btl

Still young but very enjoyable at the same. Gentle nose but its the pallet that is worth the price of entry. Pepper and cedar notes, some forrest floor, and nice black fruit. Already nicely complex. Looking forward to trying when more time has passed, it I can resist opening before then!

Vibrant and long lasting description of Chambolle. A most enjoyable bottle.
