Sineann Pinot Noir Wy'east

Semi-opaque black cherry cola color, pink to the rim, with soft, pastel aroma of raspberry and red currant. The silky smooth mouthfeel is a medium viscosity with a harmonious collage of sweet ripe raspberry, and currant that continues throughout the palate stages to the relaxed fruit expression on the finish, and an indeterminate subtle and not off-putting smokiness, supported by a welcomed acidity. Allot from the Columbia Gorge. Lively raspberry fruit to the nose. And then a bit of the smokey character on the nose. Finishes kinda bitter on the back like its got smoke taint, but is this a smoke taint vintage?

Nice Oregon Pinot. Really enjoyable. Light red fruits with a bit of secondary flavors in there too. Drinking well at the moment. Solid mid-week Pinot for sure.
