Have I drunk this too young? Maybe but it was glorious. I had a bottle of a vilafonte seriously old dirt a few months ago and it was nice but not great, after drinking this I see what they were trying to do. This wine has a beautiful complexity which lifts it, it is wonderfully ordered with a rapturous finish. I’m looking forward to my next bottle in the future.

Yes, it’s early days but given a 2 hour double decant the prior day and cork left out the bottle a couple of hours this didn’t feel like vinfanticide Plenty of minty cassis on both nose and palate, this was all about the fruit which has nice depth and vibrancy. Give it 5years and onwards and it’ll be great
