Maloof Gewürztraminer Ross & Bee Beckenridge Vineyard

Ripe, slightly bruised summer fruit up front... peach, nectarine. Tapers off towards a somewhat waxy core and then a lower acidity finish.

Solid. Not very sweet but still fruit forward. Higher acidity than other Pinot Gris I’m used to.

pink and orange colored. somewhat brighter and softer than copper. nose with stone and wet roses. light bodied with mid grade acidity. palate Aron with thin rose and lychee flavors. pleasant enough but not a rebuy.

Ripe and fun, without much of a second tier of aromas. Low acidity. Notes of pear and white nectarine. Not really my style. It did pair well with cheeses and dinner though. Notably an italian triple cream (La Tur) cut the ripe fruityness and showed the wines acidity.
