Glenlyon Syrah Estate

Very good syrah for $30. The nose is very floral with juicy berries on the palate. Acids are well aligned with the fruit. Well integrated. Drinking as well as it could now. My last bottle.

This wine scared me for a long time and I never wanted to try it, but I did last night and it was quite tasty and minimally flawed. Quite dark, with standard near black syrahs get and a glowling intensity. I was still intimidated. Some immediate pungent floral turned to a balance between some red berry and some dark berry fruit.
