Had an unusual experience with this wine. I popped and poured; the first snif offered nothing but sweet blackberry jam. The first sip was like liquid raisins. Disappointed, I put the glass down to do something else. But, within probably 5 minutes, the wine transformed. Yes, this is still super (over?) ripe and lush.
