in an amazing place right now, lots of blue & black fruits with some forest nuance... wish i had more, many many more of these, but alas, my last bottle... i would happily plan to drink this into 19, quite possibly beyond

Decent. Even the 2009 has remained good. The acidity hold the wine together. It is a little too jammy for my taste but with a burger and some spicy sides it was very good.

Decanted 2 hours.- Full and lush mouthfeel, lots of skittles fruit flavors but not jammy, with some mocha/chocolate, maybe some tobacco/leather. Good balance. Not much spice as expected but still Highly recommend

Not jammy but very robust A few more years may mellow it out a bit. These notes from my review of the '08 apply to this '09 offering: Big Rockpile zin. Tons of dark fruit, dried plum, smoke, leather, tobacco with a nice long finish. Lots of body and character.
