Cloudy dark brown color of a lightly roasted coffee with a very small, white head. Quite one-dimensional nose with hoppy aromas of florals and citrus fruits. Rather light and refreshing on the palate with hop-forward flavors of green herbs and grapefruit with some malty notes of dark chocolate and hints of sourdough rye bread. Very low carbonation. Quite long and moderately bitter finish with flavors of herbal bitterness and hints of sweet milk chocolate. A simple and balanced Black IPA. …
