Similar to my experience back in August 2020: zippy and refreshing acidity, great aromatics and flavors, medium minus body, wonderful balance and some complexity. Paired well with the chicken pot pie dinner.

This is great -- just what you'd want from a Loire SB. Just a bit of body weight to balance out the zip. Precise aromas and flavors, great with food, the whole package.

Up until 2018, this offering had been labeled as “Regain” and was rebranded starting with the 2018 vintage. Shows a pale lemon color when poured into a chilling carafe, light body, medium alcohol. Highly aromatic displaying fresh white flowers, sour lemon, tart lime, salty sea spray, and a hint of smokiness. Palate is dry with the fruits showing ripe peach, tangy lemon, lime zest, and salty crushed white stone. Wonderful complexity, nicely balanced, fresh acidity, great focus and long length. …

Nice complexity on the nose, a little rounded with some cheesy notes to go along with the gooseberry and nettle. Light to medium bodied, with a lovely crisp yet ripe mouthfeel and again lovely complexity with a tinge of creaminess (oak??) but with nice full apple and lemon fruit with a nice lime lemon zing on the finish. This is superb and wish I had more.

Quince, lime peel, crushed rock, lemon curd. Great tension and minerality.

For whatever reason, I enjoyed this bottle more than the first. I think if you approach it with more of a Bordeaux mindset, rather than Loire, it makes more sense. It has a relatively large body and mouthfeel with more tropical sweetness than I expect, yet it is fully braced with acidity. Maybe just the slightest hint of oak, or even malo-ferm, to add nuance. Pair wisely - I’d say any white meat with a butter element works. 5+11+15+7= 88

Solid SB. After reading tasting notes I was worried it would lack acidity but lo and behold it was fantastic. Plenty of semi ripe orchard fruit with plenty of zip.

Nose of apricot & white flowers. Crisp & lively. Drank with shaved asparagus pizza

Nose suggests leesy tones citrus and some mineral. Palate a tad low on acid and looking for a more etched minerality. Still a lot of extract but also ripe and rather too giving for my palate

This was excellent. crisp and lively with good Sauvignon character and nice persistence.

Nice mid-range Sauv Blanc. Light bouquet of citrus and white flowers. Palate is somewhat ripe and sweet but there’s also a good tang of acidity to pull it off. 4+9+15+7= 85
