Saline & mineral this had flavours of cherry, plums and a hint of prune which overlaid a firm tannic spine. Savoury, it had a velvety texture coupled with firm acidity developing a little fat to add balance. The dry finish was verging on astringency. Definitely a wine to be enjoyed with rich food. Clear medium ruby/garnet; clean medium nose of leather, figs, soil and strawberries; dry; high acidity; medium plus alcohol; medium body; medium plus flavour intensity; pfn; long finish; so refined and elegant - it gives Burgundian Pinot a run for its money

Clear pale brick; clean medium plus nose of strawberry jam, forest floor and leather; dry; high acidity; high tannins; high alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus to pronounced flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of soil and tar; long finish; just beginning to develop - don’t touch it for another 3 years at least!; gorgeous and focused with lots of potential

Very well made wine and recognisably Nebbiolo but the style is not my cup of tea. Felt a touch modern and international. Quite soft with relatively low acidity. 3.5
