4th Saturday Brown Bagger (R&D's) : Blind. Aromas of black and blue fruit, licorice, charred oak and toasted vanilla with a subtle perfume undertone. Flavors of blueberry, mocha and dried herbs. Soft tannins. Balanced, with nice fruit and structure. This had been double decanted off its sediment three hours before service.

Really nice. Great balance and integration right now. Super easy drinker. Not a lot of secondary characteristics but good overall. Can’t see in improving w additional time.

Dark, deep purple color. More blue fruits on the nose. There are flavors of dark cherry with a tartness to it on the back end. Tannins are still big and very present. If I had to do over again, I would have held this for at least a couple more years.

Deep, dark color. Dark cherry flavors, very smooth mid-palate, leading into a slightly spicey finish.
