Beautiful pink salmon color. Frank from Iittälä Ultima Thule glass. Restrained but refined nose of strawberries. Excellent balance, mature wine with residual acidity, beautiful red berries on the palate, with some lingering grapefruit notes on the ending that shows a hint of alcohol, a long ending, a slight notes of vanilla. I forgot to mention the mousse and the slight toast flavor on the palate: refined and delicate. This might be a wine from a difficult vintage, but you would …

This was a truly enjoyable experience of a bottle of rose Champers, even if it wasn’t a knockout. Brioche on the nose, soft red cherries and lots of acid. Was best at cellar temp or a little colder. We really enjoyed this bottle, and bummed it was our only one.

The CdC rosé never seems to get much play around these parts, but it's perennially an excellent bottle of champagne. This bottle, despite being from a difficult vintage, is drinking very well (and very true to the vintage too). It's relatively low acidity for champagne, and actually has some clear red fruit on the palate which pushes the boundaries of ripeness without going over the line. For my tastes, fully mature and probably at best now; the lack of acidity …

Fresh and youthful, limited complexity but enjoyable and in a good place now, no need to fear the vintage.

A striking nose of red fruits, strawberries and currants in particular. Very fresh on the palate, the attack begins immediately with a beautiful body, I expected a wine a little clumsy because of the vintage, but without being sharp like a 2002, it retains a beautiful liveliness and a lot of amplitude without fall flat with a nice balance. Nice!

Light salmon color, slightly light brown; lots and lots of mousse, calm, not much acidity or feist, but very pleasant; round, tasty, but also slightly sour

i was flat out knocked silly by this wine, i liked it that much. one giant problem: $400 in our market. but it is one of the best rose champs i've tasted. i'm ignorant about the quality of the 03 vintage, and i'm pretty certain this is my only exposure to it, but it got my attention in a big way. delicious and complex.

Masters of Wine Champagne Tasting (San Francisco, CA) : Fantastic! Salmon-pink color. Tiny precise bubbles. Light red berry and citrus nose. Palate of red berries, citrus, and mineral flavors with a subtle earthiness. Quite elegant. Long finish. Medium bodied. This will develop beautifully over the next decade, though probably not the best choice for very long aging. My favorite rosé of the night and the best Champagne I’ve had yet from this difficult vintage. Remarkable.
