Dry, high alcohol, full body, intense, medium + tannin but well resolved, medium+ acidity, long finish. Intense aroma of sweet spices and red plum, raisin, red cherry, the oak is well integrated. Vanilla, chocolate. It shows better complexity and finish than the non réserva one

Taken as a back-up when my birthday bottle of 1961 Barolo crapped out, this was quite enjoyable. Rich, full, and juicy, but with a bright line of acidity that kept it from being at all heavy. This was better than I recall the 2009 drinking a few months back.

A lovely expression of the Amarone style. Wonderful rich dark fruit and glycerine like texture.

Opened on day one, ended up falling asleep, so enjoyed this on the second day. 70% Corvina, 15% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta and a splash of Molinara. Bakers chocolate, cherry, salami, mocha, herbaceous, prune, balsamic. Very intense. Think I prefer the non riserva over this.

A bit of vanilla and dark fruits on the nose. Full bodied, smooth and elegant, showing some vanilla and smooth dark fruit with excellent acidity and firm tannins. A bit of heat on the finish. This was just great in a flight of several wines in a Veneto tasting.

The wine presents itself with a beautiful garnet color of good transparency. On the nose, an important evolution is immediately noticeable, with many tertiary notes, as well as dark fruit jam, dried plum, dried violets and iris, a lovely spicy component of juniper and cardamom surrounds and refines a nose that also features a lot of wood and undergrowth. In the mouth, it reveals all its years with an almost completely evolved tannin and a structure and persistence that I …

appearance is dark and opaque. enticing fruit forward nose of currant, raisin, plum, chocolate and spice. palate is smooth and silky, perfectly balanced. a nice level of sweetness and some woody spicy notes make themselves apparent as well. this will be good for a number of years but is drinking beautifully at the moment.

Oh my word, this wine was so good. Decanted 3 hrs before. Deep ruby. Black fruit, oak and vanilla on the nose. Rich, beautifully balanced wine. Dry wine though hints of sweet fruit throughout. Medium high acids. Smooth tannins. Black and red fruits. Long aftertaste. This wine is fabulous. However, don’t drink alone! 15.5% abv

A tight nose - dark and brooding fruit; full and rich, quite tightly wound. Tannins hidden by fruit. Oak well-integrated. Young.

Tasted at the Tre Bicchieri NYC event. Seems very ripe and modern. Big tannin, big raisiny fruit and lower in acidity than the wine needs IMO. A little disappointing to me. Well made but stylisticly unappealing to my.

Tre Biccheri Grand Tour (Bridgeport arts center, Chicago IL) : The nose is rich and with some restrained power to the tones of black cherries, black raspberries, Asian spices, licorice, raspberry liqueur notes, leather, chocolate, and a touch of raisins. There is good depth and seamlessness as this has an open nature already. The Full bodied feel is robust and plush with medium acidity and chewy, medium+ tannins that have some punch behind them. While this could age, it’s super …
