Nice fruit and spice. Pulled up front. Not the depth or harmony you would get from Dujac CSD. Enjoyable, but somehow incomplete.

The LLM was very aromatic with red fruits, some forest floor, herbs & spices with perfectly intregrated tannins & medium acidity. A really great bottle.

Totally agree with the two most recent tasting notes. Superlative with an hour decant and just kept coming on over a two hour dinner.

Fully mature and singing. Autumn leaves, red fruit, spices. Elegant mouth feel.

This has always been a great bottle and so it was today with real aromatic depth around red fruit, spices and whole cluster.

Très fin mais manque de puissance pour être extraordinaire. Encore primaire.

Power møter slank årgsng blir meget bra: Hedonistisk nese med spice for evigheten, Bringebær, eik, heftig spice, flott lengde, power men 13-ryggrad. Gi eika fem år til, så blir dette strålende.

Lucien Le Moine Clos Saint Denis 2013. Dette er litt for ungt. 4 timer i karaffel hjelper på. 1 time til i glasset hjelper enda mer. Spicen her er helt vindunderlig. Noe fatpreg, men parfymen, frukten og krydderet skinner igjennom. Siste slumpen i glasset er temmelig sexy. Vinen vokser og vokser. Slank munnfølelse. Lettbeint intensitet, men konsentrasjonene er der. Meget fresh. Er fortsatt noe tight og bør ligge minimum 2-3 år til. Stram i utgangen med ganske bestemte tanniner og …

notes of red fruits, spices, roses, with wet forest floor, medium acidity in a elegant body. It seemed to shut down for a bit before opening up again. I loved this wine so much I didn't want to finish the glass. This may even get better which is insane to think.

Definitely the most approachable of the 2013 Le Moine Grand Crus I have tried recently. Great spice, ripe red fruit, initially a fair amount of oak. Needed an hour. Great balance and energy. Impressive.

Remarkably approachable as a pop and pour for such a young grand cru. So elegant, flowers and cherries carry through seamlessly from the nose to the finish. There’s a touch of oak and stem that pokes its head up and I am going to retry tomorrow see how it integrates. My initial impression is that another few years will reveal another gear to this already impressive wine. * Day 2 more elegant, more expressive. There is a lightness and fineness …

During a wine dinner. Consistent with my last tasting note. This wine, which is sourced from Georges Lignier (an under the radar producer) is a stunner. Wonderful stemmy notes intermixed with red fruit, game, toast, leather. 96+

Wide open at the moment, floral and clean, good spices too. Maybe my favorite bottling from Lucien Le Moine. ‘09 was outrageously good right after release. A CSD that’s still relatively under-priced, rare in Burgundy these days. Good density and length, Grand Cru without doubt. ABV 13% with hardly any hint of alcohol at finish, excellent balance. Better than ‘10 but behind ‘09. Delicious wine. Love to drink Grand Cru Burgundy young....shoot me... Keep a glass for 3rd day, still …

Somewhat reluctantly I have to admit that this is a fantastic bottle of wine. Refined elegance and a concentration that you only find in a handful producers. Hands down the best Clos-St-Denis I’ve ever had. 95p may be conservative.

Wow, right off the bat, amazing nose of whole cluster, red fruit, earth, dark berries, sandal wood, very grand and complex. Well structured palate with young tannins, excellent phenolic ripeness, long finish. This is a very high end Burg by any standard, aromatically DRC affinity even. Classic not modern in style.

Decanted for three hours. Lovely oak perfectly integrated among elegant layers of floral, savoury raspberry sweets, eucalyptus, crushed white pepper and juniper. So focused and concentrated on the palate that it starts of with blackberry and exotic herbs, and turns more tangy to cool raspberry seeds and currant. This is a young one but absolutely amazing to drink now.
