The wine is a shade of purple to almost garnet in color. It is more primary on the palate with moderate length on the finish. On the noze are violetes, rose petals, not what I would have expected. Very different than a Rhone. While very enjoyable, it is lacking some complexity. I don't think this is a wine for aging long.
