In a sweet spot at this level of maturity I think. Intensely aromatic nose with sweet and sour cherry, basil, sandalwood, camphor, musk, tiniest bit of chocolate. Very harmonious, sweetly fruited palate with great intensity of flavour. Lots of cherry, spice, and some cola (though not confected) flavours. Long and pleasing finish. Apparently I paid £15 for this - should have bought twenty bottles.

Delicate notes of raspberry, cranberry, potting soil, some indian spices. The palate has that same spice and more subtle berry notes, this wine is made with a lot of restraint and took a while to show itself off and open up. I like it but it is missing a little oomph in the mid-palate. An enjoyable well made Pinot.

Very enjoyable Oregon pinot. Earthy notes with a peppery finish. Paired well with spaghetti a la carbonara

Coravin second glass on day 3. Ruby, Darker than NZ Pinots, can just see through. Sour cherry, dark fruit, slight leather, Like this nose. Med to full bodied, fine low tanin. Interesting savoury notes show on the palate, good lebgth. Like it so far. At least 90+. Will try again a few days later. Benefits from some air time - pnp was already good, but after time the flabby sweetness goes away and is left with a superb wine. So …

Deep garnet to ruby color. Immediate strong aromas of raspberry syrup with maybe some forest floor underneath and some darker cherries. Medium bodied, with medium tannins. Some tartness in the fruit of blueberries, and cranberries. The tartness faded with time in the glass bring forth redder fruits, especially ripe cherries. Delicious, and my wife loved it. Paired well with some grilled salmon in a lemon, sesame oil sauce.

PnP. Tasted over two nights. Very pretty. Too controlled? Not sure, tho I’m a big fan of Jadot’s French wines. 13.5%

Took to Vintage Friday. Always, but not quite. It just seems to be lacking coherence and I believe that time won't help much.

Melissa rated this 80-85. I, on the other hand, give it a solid 90. I LOVE the earthiness of this wine, and the subtleties of berries is really special.

Overall a very fine wine which will only get better with more bottle time. All the elements are there but still slightly disjointed. I'll save my final bottle for springtime.

Medium crimson in color, this wine reveals blackberry, black cherry and tobacco leaf on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with more dark fruits and hints of clove. The finish brings the dark fruits, light tannins and brisk acidity together in a pleasant fashion. Retailing for $45US, this was tasted at the Wine Spectator Grand Tour in Miami on 5/12/12017.

Tasted after 2013 Résonance Vineyard. A bit richer and more generous on the nose, lovely fruit, spices, slightly smoky. Fresh, lifted and mineral on the palate. Good tannic grip, lovely fruit, very good length. 92-93+

Opened last night and tasted blind. Light color. Fragrant nose of red fruit and herbs. Light but sappy, crisp flavors, actually more black fruited than it smells. Prominent black licorice like Savigny. Really good. I guessed Volnay; at least I got the varietal right on this one.

I actually found this wine quite pleasing, having gone in with low expectations. Burgundian nose. Nice, balanced palate. Not effusive fruit, but mid-palate dark cherries shine through. I'll definitely buy more, especially if I can find good discounts.

Tasted 4 times with consistent results. These are very good. Last time with this was with the 2006 Beaux Frere BFV and 2008 St. Inn. White Rose.I liked the Resonance a little better. Great fruit with a little earthy funk thrown in. They do need some air time if consumed now.

I want to really like this wine but overall it is just adequate and its better qualities are disjointed. In the nose has some pleasant aromatic definition that vaguely suggests Pinot. In the mouth the nice acid balance is overwhelmed by course tannins. Then the finish again hints at warm complex Pinot flavors only to smothered under bitterness.

So the 40 vintage winemaker from Jadot is coming out to make this guy and work it. Somkey and reductive on the nose, tart on the palate, needs some time to figure out where that is going
