There is a bouquet after overripend dark fruit and by color we can see that this bordeaux blend is not overally too extractive. Südsteiermark, Slovenia and Collio (Friuli Venezia Giulia); 9/7/2019-9/20/2019 (Südsteiermark, Slovenia and Collio (Friuli Venezia Giulia)) : Green pepper, touch of blackberry and some red fruit. Quite soft and warm in the mouth. Fresh fruit and a bit of cedary oak. Medium tannins and alcohol. Lovely long finish. A conventional but very good wine.

Oh Wow! A well-crafted Right Bank Bordeaux blend from Slovenia!?! Who would have thunk it!? Put this in a blind flight of comparably priced or higher 2010 Merlot heavy Bordeaux and watch it shine (confound the critics)! Yeah...I said it!!! It's that good!
