A nice wine. Nothing spectacular but nothing wrong either. 100% merlot with moderate amount of fruit along with an herbal edge. We liked it but probably not a crowd pleaser. Drink or hold.

Very acidic initially but this blew off after an hour. Large amount of sediment with this wine make it virtually impossible to get a clear glass

Took a few minutes to open up, perhaps due to a bumpy bike ride before opening. Ended up drinking well, some sediment. Overall enjoyable and nice value.

Wonderful dark color, almost black in the glass with a purple rim. Nose starts musty, then scents of cassis, blueberries and violets with a hint of rosemary. Juicy red plum, purple grape, and chalky tannins in the mouth. If the musty notes blow off with more air or time in the cellar this could be 90-92.
